Nani’s Challenge:
First, I want to mention the bold statement Nani made at the pre-release event. He said that if you don’t meet your expectations after watching “Court,” then don’t watch my upcoming film “Hit 3,” releasing in two months. I think this is a truly brave statement. Whether you watch “Hit 3” or not is entirely up to you.
Bold and Outspoken: He directly challenges viewers to boycott his own upcoming film if they don’t like his review of “Court,” showing a fearless and self-assured personality. He doesn’t shy away from expressing strong opinions.
Knowledgeable and Passionate: He demonstrates a deep understanding of cinema, commenting on acting, music, direction, and even the authenticity of the film’s setting. His passion for film is evident in his enthusiastic delivery and detailed critique.
Court Movie Story Plot:
“Court” is a tender love story. Because of this love story, a young man ends up in jail. Why did he go to jail? Will he get out? You’ll have to watch the movie to find out. We can Guess from the trailer it gives a glimpse of the plot. Revealing the plot in reviews is done to generate interest among new viewers and build anticipation for the film.
Performances:
The three lead actors in the film delivered outstanding performances. Shivaji garu has a fantastic role; this is a great comeback for him to the silver screen. After watching this film, I feel that many more great roles await him in the future. Sai Kumar garu’s scene in the second half is phenomenal. I cried and clapped during that scene! Vijay Bulganin’s music is simply amazing. The love songs are especially captivating. The interval BGM is sure to impress everyone. There’s a scene in the second half that reminded me of Ilaiyaraaja garu’s music.
Weaknesses:
The film does have some shortcomings. Though set in Bheemunipatnam, due to budget constraints, it didn’t feel entirely authentic. The sets, even the hero and heroine’s houses, felt artificial. The quality of the drone shots was also significantly lower than the rest of the film. While Shivaji garu acted well, his hero image made his character seem a bit too soft. Some of the casting choices could have been better. The Bheemunipatnam and Visakhapatnam slang felt generic, more like the East Godavari dialect.
Final Verdict:
“Court” delivers a very important message. Youth, lawyers, judges, parents, and police officers should definitely watch this film. The movie exposes flaws within the justice system. Despite being the director’s debut, some scenes were handled exceptionally well. The script is good, but not perfect.
You Will thoroughly enjoy this movie. It may not collect 1000 crores, but for me, it’s far better than many 1000-crore films. I’m giving this film a rating of 325 tomatoes! “Learn to ask why” is one of my favorite quotes, and the movie also touches upon this. You absolutely must watch this movie, Hence we concludes the Court Movie 2025.
